    June is Torture Awareness Month and this prayer is an excellent resource to raise awareness.     This deeply moving prayer was written by Pax Christi USA Teacher of Peace Sr. Dianna Ortiz, OSU, a torture survivor herself and founder of the Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition. The prayer calls on Jesus, tortured more than 2000 years ago, to be with those tortured today and to help all of us "to look into the secret prisons--the unmarked graves--the hearts and minds of torture survivors," to embrace their wounds and give us the will to end the horror of torture.

    This prayer card is 3.5" x 5.5", with action suggestions; shrink-wrapped in packages of 100.
