January 30th marks the 60th anniversary of the assassination of the "Great Soul," Mahatma Gandhi. To commemorate his life, we have updated, expanded, and redesigned our Peacemaker Pamphlet on Gandhi. This 28-page booklet outlines Gandhi's early life and influences; his search for truth and justice through the practice of satyagraha in South Africa; the situation of British colonial rule in India; the salt march and campaign; the many steps to freedom; and more of Gandhi's "experiments in truth." The booklet also contains 5 pages of Gandhi's thoughts on nonviolence as well as many pictures from his life.
