But the most exciting thing about this shirt is that they are made in a Palestinian-owned union factory in Bethlehem. This endeavor has the active support of both the Israeli and Palestinian foreign ministries and is helping the economic development of the West Bank, where the unemployment rate is more than 40 percent and jobs could be a deterrent to violence. The factory employs about 70 workers; it is owned by a Christian and organized under a Muslim union; the No Sweat™ brand that is bringing these t-shirts to the world was founded by Adam Nieman and Natalia Muina, Jewish/American & Jewish/Cuban entrepreneurs.
