This prayer card is excellent for outreach in your parish, school, university and community, and is a great way to respond to the division, anxiety and tension that accompany the election season in our nation. The prayer reads, in part:
"May our faith guide us to vote for genuine servant leaders, who, like Jesus, will welcome the stranger, feed the hungry,
clothe the naked, visit the prisoner, embrace the sick and
dying, and promote peace and nonviolence."
The prayer card is an excellent gift for first-time voters and a good way to introduce others to the role that conscience and faith play in our political process.
